Essie!!

Kenyon smiled. "Okay!" Hesitating, he finally worked up his courage and leaned his head forward to kiss Essie.

Essie leaned in as Kenyon leaned in, then there lips met in the middle, and Essie was so happy the feeling in her stomach made her feel better then good.

Kenyon kissed Essie slowly at first, then began to get more passionate. This was only his second kiss, but he loved it, and he felt like this moment could go on forever. How could he have missed out on this for fifty-five years?

Finally, he broke off. "I have never felt so alive," he said, meaning it. Something about Essie just made everything feel so...right. He felt like he belonged with her, and he hoped she felt the same. Hesitating once more, he tilted his head towards her again and asked, "More?"

Essie nodded. "Yes, more." She was nodded as if someone had asked her if she liked to go shopping. Which was a huge yes. She smiled softly, at him. She loved him...But she had just met him.

Kenyon kissed her again, softly, enjoying the moment. He'd known Essie for what? A few hours? So what was it that made him fall so quickly for her? At first, he'd been awkward, trying to ignore the fact he thought she was cute, and that she had told him vice versa.

And now...well, he didn't know what now was. He just wanted this moment to last forever.

Essie kept kissing him, trying not to over think things to much. But she found herself pulling away from him and looking down at her hands. "I'm sorry." She whispered.

He found himself to be a little disappointed when she pulled away. Then, Kenyon grew worried when she apologized. "Is something wrong?" he asked her.

Essie nodded. "This is bad." She told him, and put a hand on his cheek. "Were just going to get hurt." She muttered. "I'll die."

He gripped her shoulders and looked Essie straight in the eyes. "Yes, you'll die. Decades from now. We still have all that time. And I'm not invincible. Someday, I'll die too. No one's going to get hurt. In the end we'll always have each other. So let's make the most our time while we can!"

"Yeah...I feel the same. Ha, I guess I know what they mean now! In the movies, when characters randomly fall for someone they've just met! I get it now...I completely get it." Kenyon trailed off, then said, "And I'll gladly spend all my time with you as well."

Kenyon closed his eyes, leaned forward, and did as he was told.

He pulled back and smiled at Essie, and glanced at his watch. "What do you want to do now? We've got all day...and really any day, since I don't plan on attending high school for the umpteenth time."

Essie shook her head. "I want to go to school! I have to learn as a human!"

Kenyon gave Essie a weird look. "You...want to go to school? I can, you know, teach you about being a human by myself. Because trust me, you do not want to go to school."

"But I've never really been!" She told him. "But okay." She said nodding softly.

Kenyon was confused. "Wait, does that mean you aren't going to go to school? Or are you still going to? Because I guess I'll go if you go." He sighed. "But I'm not promising I'll like it."

Essie stood up, and started to jump up and down like a little kid, "Yay! Let's go to school! And I'll make sure you looooove it!"

Kenyon smiled wryly as he stood up as well, then held his hands out in front of him. "Whoa, whoa, calm down, okay?" He laughed a little at her reaction. "I'll go, I'll go! And if you're there...well, maybe it'll be a little more fun. We'll have to come up with an excuse to have the same schedule, though." He knew that he didn't want Essie, who had so much to learn about humans, going to classes without him by her side.

Essie nodded fast, and laughed a little. "I could pretend to only speak a different language, and you can translate for me."

"Haha, maybe!" Kenyon said, laughing. "But what language? All I know is some French. Want to be from France?"

"Um...How you say...Yes." Essie said, giggling with a fake french accent, that sounded very real.

Kenyon blinked in surprise, then laughed. "Haha, nice!" he exclaimed. "That sounds completely real!" He gave her a grin. "Well then, I guess we can get you enrolled in school tomorrow. Sound good?"
