A New City

He shrugged. "Is Sebastian a friend of yours?" Dave asked. There didn't seem to be another person living here.

"He's my butler back in Romania."Meri moved closer to Dave and leaned on him hoping he would let her."So what about you?Where are you from?"

"Mmm, I see." Meri leaned on him then, which surprised him a bit. Nevertheless, he allowed it. I didn't expect to grow so close to her this quickly, he thought. "Well, I just moved here from Chicago," Dave replied. "For college."

"I decided not to go to collage."Meri leaned closer and got out some chapstick just in case."But that's cool.Sooooo...what now?"Meri pursed her lips a little.

"A-ah, okay..." Dave stuttered, blushing. "Well, erm, I don't know... what do you wanna do?" He has never been this close to a girl.... the death vision had always gotten in the way

"We could do this..."Meri Put her lips out in kiss form hoping with ALL her might that he would do it too but against her lips."Don't be stingy.Haven't you ever kissed a girl?"Meri spoke to him through thought.

No... Dave admitted miserably, blushing even more. But he didn't even have to think of whether to do it or not, he wanted to anyway. Meridith was absolutely adorable. Who wouldn't want to be with her? Slowly, with one hand he took he tilted her chin up slightly, and ever so slowly closed the distance between his lips and hers.

After a few minutes Meri looked at him and was at a loss for words but managed a measly"WOW."

"Y-yeah... wow..." Dave mumbled, chuckling. That moment right there was one he would certainly never forget.

"Do you...nevermind.Love is for humans.Not vampires.I think you should forget about me.I'm going to the Arcane district."Meri knew that wasn't what it was called.The dwellings of the New York vampires and such was in the back alleys and dark parts of New York.

"Wait, what?!" Dave immediately stood up, shocked at what Meri had just said. "What if I don't want to? And when would you be back?" There was still some lingering redness on his cheeks, but it started to fade away as the surprise came in.
If you would be back at all... Dave thought.

Meri was thinking hard about everything when it hit her that this presense wasn't an arcane or evil at all.It was love.Meri ran like she couldn't run anymore.She rounded the corner her apartment in sight and she boosted her speed to a sprint.she got inside and found him sitting like he was before.She gathered all her nerves and said."I LOVE YOU!"Meri blushed realising she yelled and covered her cheeks.

When she came back running through the door, the pieces clicked right in.

"I love you too!!" Dave replied, walking towards her without knowing exactly what he was doing.
Well, that's love, he thought to himself, smiling.

"Do you wanna you know...go out with me?"Meri's phone rang.She rushed over."Hello?WHAT?!?How?But why?I'll catch the first plane out.Bye."Meri put down the phone."I have to go to Romania.You can come with me if you want."

"Romania..." Dave repeated, mumbling. "Damn... well... how long would it be?" He scratched the back of his head. He had just arrived that day and he would need to start going to school the following day.

"A week at most.I HAVE to go,Sebastian has fallen ill.He needs me to take care of the castle.I need to know he's ok.But you don't have to go if you don't want to."

"Well, I'd love to go." Dave said, smiling slightly. His smile soon faded into a frown as he thought of more visions that he might see along the way. "Are you really sure it would be okay though?"

" Totally!"Then the shock stage ended and she realised that her father figure was deathly sick.Meri started to cry."OMG!He's gonna die."Meri said through tears."I have to leave!I have to get to Romania!I have to get tickets for a flight!"Meri started freaking out taking short and fast breaths.

He put his hands on her shoulders again, so he can have her attention from freaking out.
"It'll be fine, okay?" Dave told her gently. "The more you panic, the more you won't get anywhere. I'll be with you."

Though my mom's gonna kill me for skipping school, he thought.

"Would you PLEASE come with me?I need you.You...keep me cool.PlusI want Sebastian to meet you.He's like my dad."Meri put her arms around his neck, hung her head down,and groaned.Then looked up with the cutest puppy dog face she coud make and said"PWEASE."

He chuckled to himself as he looked at her adorable puppy face. "I was going to come along anyway," Dave said, grinning widely. "I've always wanted to go to Europe. So... when shall we leave?"

"I don't now...now?Or not we could wait till later!OH GOSH!I have a jet landed at the airport right now.If we leave now we'll get there by midnight!"

ooc; You know, we're kinda ahead in time from all the other roleplays lol.

bic; Dave looked around for some sort of clock, and found one by the dark corner. It read 8:15. "I'm sure we'll make it," he assured her. "The ride to the airport from here isn't too long anyway."

Meri put her arms around Dave."THANK YOU!!!!!"Meri kissed both of Dave's cheeks and again said,"Thank you.<3"

He grinned widely and blushed as she kissed his cheeks. "No need to thank me," Dave told her. "Come on, let's get packing."
